Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE) Program Established

Mountain Line has established a Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) program to bid on federally funded projects, products and services. Firms owned and controlled by 51% or more by women, minorities or other socially or economically disadvantaged individuals or groups are eligible to apply for DBE certification. Mountain Line’s Board of Directors approved the program at the Sept. 4, 2015 board meeting.

Mountain Line is seeking proposals from individuals and firms to operate a retail establishment at the Transfer Center located at 200 W Pine St.  The deadline for submissions has been extended to Friday, January 6, 2017 at 5pm. Missoula Urban Transportation District receives funding from the Federal Transit Administration to assist with transit operations and capital expenses. As such, third party contracts involving the use of federal funds are subject to additional requirements.

Mountain Line sells ad space on both the interior and exterior of its buses. Advertisements must conform to the Missoula Urban Transportation District Bus Advertising Policy.
