Paratransit Scheduler

Mountain Line is seeking an ambitious, enthusiastic, detail-oriented, and proactive individual to join our team as Paratransit Scheduler.  The Paratransit Scheduler is primarily responsible for customer service, Paratransit, and senior van scheduling, coordinating vehicles and operator dispatch.

Successful candidates will exhibit strong oral and written communication skills; knowledge of, or ability to quickly learn, federal, state, and local codes and regulations; knowledge of Missoula area geography; excellent interpersonal skills; excellent customer service; skillful scheduling experience. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED. Two years experience in customer service, scheduling, dispatching, and/or data entry is preferred.

Mountain Line is Missoula’s community bus service, providing over 1.5 million rides annually. Mountain Line helps get students to class, employees to work, and keeps people with disabilities and seniors active and mobile. Diesel Mechanic

Mountain Line is now accepting applications for a Diesel Mechanic. Minimum preferred qualifications for this position are 3 years technical experience as a Diesel Mechanic and 1 year vocational training. Possession of a Class B Commercial Driver’s License with air brake endorsement is preferred. CDL Class B Permit is required or the ability to obtain it within 30 days of employment. Vehicle information systems experience a plus.

Transit Operators

Interested in a long-term career that drives you to success? Mountain Line has a place for you. We have immediate job openings for our entry-level report operator position, with opportunities to move into a full-time position as vacancies occur. We will provide Class B Commercial Driver’s License training to candidates eager to provide safe and courteous service.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Proficiency in customer service
  • At least 21 years old with a high school diploma or GED
  • 36 months clean driving record
  • 10 years without driver’s license revocation or suspension
  • Pre-employment drug test, DOT physical, and background check
