MISSOULA, MONTANA (June 3, 2013) — Please join Mountain Line at Missoula’s Out to Lunch in Caras Park starting this Wednesday, June 4th. Folks can ride free on Mountain Line’s trolley which will service Dornblaser parking at South and Higgins as well as the parking lots at the Lewis & Clark Transfer Center. Free public parking will be available at these locations.
The free trolley will leave the Lewis & Clark Transfer Center and Dornblaser lots every 20 minutes and travel on Higgins Avenue to Caras Park. The first bus will leave Lewis & Clark Transfer Center at 10:45am and the last bus will depart Caras Park at 1:45pm.
“Mountain Line is always looking for ways to make our community an exciting and livable place” Said General Manager Michael Tree. “Providing a free trolley for Out to Lunch, and reducing traffic congestion downtown is just one of the ways that Mountain Line benefits all of us here in Missoula.”
Sponsors of the trolley for Out to Lunch include, Missoula in Motion, Blackfoot Communications and the Missoula Parking Commission. In the event the trolley is unavailable due to maintenance schedules, a regular Mountain Line bus will provide the abovementioned service for the Out to Lunch events.
