Missoula children’s band, The Whizpops star in new Mountain Line video

Whether you’re a kid or still a kid at heart, everyone has a memory of singing songs on the bus. Mountain Line, Missoula’s community bus service, hopes to keep those memories alive and make new ones with their latest promotional video featuring Missoula’s favorite kids’ band, The Whizpops and their new song, “Everything’s Better With a Mustache (The Walrus Song).” The Whizpops treated a group of young Missoulians to a short concert and sing-along on a recent Zero-fare ride to Splash Montana, one of the City’s most popular summer places to beat the heat.

“Mountain Line’s Zero-fare service creates convenient commuting access for all Missoulians and highlights Missoula’s commitment to community inclusiveness,” said Whizpops’ Casey Schaefer. “Mountain Line provides a family friendly ride that lets us connect with our neighbors and friends on our way to work, school, and play in our incredible town.”

The Whizpops will be performing at River City Roots Festival August 26th at 12:30pm on the main stage. “As Green Sponsors of River City Roots Fest, we’ll again have a front row seat to The Whizpops’ awesome, kid-tested performance,” said Bill Pfeiffer, Community Outreach Coordinator at Mountain Line. “It’s terrific that they’re such big fans of accessible and healthy transportation in our hometown, because we’re big fans of their music and all just big kids’ at heart.”
