MISSOULA, MONTANA (November 3, 2014) – The Missoula Urban Transportation District will operate Mountain Line Zero-fare on Tuesday, November 4th in recognition of Election Day. Missoulians are encouraged to hop on board any of Mountain Line’s routes at no cost on Tuesday to catch a ride to the polls. “Voting is an important part of democracy,” said Mountain Line Spokesperson Topher Williams. “At Mountain Line, we believe that ensuring access to the voting booth, truly benefits us all.”
To find your voting location go to www.missoulavotes.com. If you are not registered you can take routes 1, 6 or 7 to the Missoula County Fair Grounds to register and cast your ballot. In addition to Mountain Line’s Zero-fare, the University of Montana’s UDASH transportation services will also be running an election shuttle to the Fairgrounds until 8:00PM. UDASH is free and open to the public.
